Our Story
Founded on one belief: children rise to what they're trusted with
LATAHOUSE Schools opened in 2013 with 4 children and zero classrooms in the church above the school building, Ibadan. The founders, a pair of educators frustrated by oversized classrooms and one-size-fits-all teaching, set out to build a school where every child would be known by name, strength, and curiosity.
Thirteen years later, that founding idea still shapes everything we do: capped class sizes, teachers who stay for years rather than terms, and a curriculum built around how children actually learn best.
Our Mission
To nurture confident, principled learners through personalised teaching, a rigorous curriculum, and a community grounded in care.
Our Vision
To be Ibadan's most trusted name in foundational education, recognised for producing thoughtful, capable young leaders.
Our Promise
Every child leaves LATAHOUSE knowing how to think, not just what to think, equipped for whatever path they choose next.

Community
Parents, teachers and students work as one team, not three.
Growth
